Here are a series of photos from my dad's collection of the We-No. The We-No was built by E. P. "Bill" Grimm in Pittsburgh in 1951, and had a wood hull and cabin, along with a 410 hp Alco 6 cylinder diesel engine. On April 12, 1952 it burned to the hull near Lock No. 8, near Wellsville, OH, just one year and three days after it had been completed.
