The Wm Pitt was owned by Ronald Grimm. It was a diesel towboat with steel hull and twin props, built at Neville Island, Pittsburgh,  by Dravo in 1947 it was 116 x 27 x 10, powered by General Motors diesels putting out a total of 1000 hp. It was owned by Keystone Division of Dravo Corporation, Pittsburgh, and was a duplicate of the Freedom and the Victory. She was sold in April 1963 to Walker Towing Corp., Paducah, KY. The latest Coast Guard record indicates that is is 118 ft. long by 28 ft. wide and has 1700 hp.
