Chick Grimm, May 16, 1965

The Chick Grimm was built and owned by my grandfather, Charles N. "Chick" Grimm, Sr. He finished it in 1966. It was a diesel towboat with a wood hull and single prop. It was 40.3 x 14. 1 and had 300 hp. This view appears to be of the Chick Grimm while it was under construction. The boat sunk here at the landing around 1978 or 1979.
