The B&W G3 was introduced in January 1999 and discontinued in August 1999. The 350 MHz version listed for $1999.
I’ve actually owned three of these, and used one for years at work. Two of the ones I owned were purchased from the University of Michigan’s salvage store, along with one 17” Apple Studio Display. A third I purchased from eBay to use as parts. That one had a Zif CPU upgrade, likely a PowerLogix PowerForce G3800 MHZ Zif; not positive because there were no markings on it and I couldn’t find the original paperwork from the purchase.
